GiBLI becomes the Official Aerodynamic Sensor of USA Cycling.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado. – July 13, 2026 - Today, USA Cycling announced a partnership with GiBLI, a leader in real-time aerodynamic performance technology, naming the company the Official On-Bike Aerodynamic Sensor Partner through the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The collaboration introduces a new capability into elite training: measuring aerodynamic performance in real-time, on the road and track. In cycling, aerodynamics accounts for the majority of resistance at speed, yet outside of wind tunnels and controlled testing, it has remained largely invisible during everyday training. This has limited athletes’ ability to consistently identify and apply aerodynamic gains. The GiBLI G10 sensor changes that.

The system enables athletes and coaches to measure aerodynamic drag (CdA) in real-world conditions and receive immediate feedback, turning aerodynamics into a live, actionable training metric.

Prior to formalizing the partnership, USA Cycling conducted extensive testing with its high-performance staff and athletes, reinforcing its commitment to delivering best-in-class performance solutions. The results demonstrated the G10’s ability to deliver accurate, repeatable aerodynamic data in dynamic environments, while translating complex insights into adjustments athletes could implement immediately.

Speed in cycling is defined by small margins,” said Jim Miller, Chief of Sports Performance at USA Cycling. “The GiBLI system allows us to quantify aerodynamic performance in real-time and make immediate, informed decisions. It’s a meaningful and significant technological addition to how we prepare athletes for international competition."

By bringing real-world aerodynamic feedback into everyday training, the partnership reflects USA Cycling’s commitment to innovation and its focus on equipping athletes with the tools needed to perform at the highest level.

We built GiBLI to make aerodynamic performance measurable anytime, anywhere,” said Mark Ernsting, Founder and CEO of GiBLI. “Working with USA Cycling reinforces how impactful this level of insight can be when applied in real training environments.

While initially deployed within the USA Cycling high-performance program, the technology is also available to competitive cyclists and triathletes, helping expand access to advanced performance insights across the broader cycling community.

The partnership begins immediately and will continue through the LA 2028 Olympic Games, supporting USA Cycling athletes as they pursue podium performances through precision, innovation, and data-driven training.
